English: Diocletian. AD 284-305. Plated electrotype of an AV 10 Aurei Medallion (43mm, 24.86 g, 6h). After a Trier mint issue, circa AD 303. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed half-length bust right, holding Victory on a globe in right hand / Jupiter seated left, holding eagle on a thunderbolt in right hand, scepter in left; PTR. RIC VI -; Gnecchi -; Lukanc p. 122, 16 (for original); Bastien & Metzger 309 (this electrotype?). Near EF, a few minor marks.
