Description
English: Taken from the VIIRS instrument on the Suomi-NPP satellite, this true color image of a large extratropical cyclone was taken on December 11, 2021 at 18:40 (UTC) 1:40 PM (Local Time). This system caused an tornado outbreak in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Also this storm brought wintry impacts out west and in Minnesota, and brought high winds in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario.
