Description
Norsk nynorsk: Våpen for Modum kommune i Buskerud fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 15. mars 1985.
Motiv: I blått ein sølv trillingstreng skråstilt venstre-høgre, danna ved bylgjesnitt. Våpenet skal symbolisere dei tre store elvane i Modum, Drammenselva, Snarumselva og Simoa. Blåfargen spelar på Modum Blaafarveværk, som i ein periode før 1850 var den største produsenten av koboltblått i Europa og på sitt meste hadde over 1000 tilsette.
