NASA: A Human Adventure – Thanks to the initiative of a family-owned company, John Nurminen Events B.V., the world’s largest known touring space exhibition, entitled NASA - A Human Adventure, is currently open to the public. This exhibition is focused on the history and value of the U.S. space program for an international audience, covers over 2000 square meters, and displays over 250 original objects and replicas. Included in the collection are space capsules, rocket engines, astronaut suits, space telescopes and satellites, showing the evolution of space exploration. The exhibition premiered in Stockholm on January 28, 2011, then traveled to Madrid, Istanbul, Utrecht, Tokyo, then Bangkok, and is currently in Norrkoping, Sweden, from May 1 – August 31, 2015. To facilitate NASA’s participation in the exhibition, NASA and John Nurminen Events entered into an international agreement in 2010, which is in effect through December 31, 2018.
