A copyright renewal search was conducted at copyright.gov using "Globe Photos" and "Mirror Enterprises Syndicate". There was no information on Mirror Enterprises and no renewals for Globe Photos. The listings for Globe Photos were new applications and didn't at all pertain to this photo. A search for The Times in 1954 at copyright.gov did not produce any results. There appears to be no continuing copyright claims on this photo.
