Summary

Description Mound 12 at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park in Madison County, Tennessee, located in the Southeastern United States. In the 1970s, archaeologist John Broster excavated this mound and uncovered a clay pit used for human cremation. He also discovered evidence of Early Woodland period occupation.
