English: Plan de la Ville de Siam, a city map of Ayutthaya in 1687, realized by Jacques-Nicolas Bellin in 1751. Ayutthaya was the old capital of Siam before it was razed by the Burmese in 1767. This plan is based on a survey by a French engineer in 1687 during the French embassy from Louis XIV to the King of Siam. Size: 19 x 26 cm. |
