| Description |
English: Populations of Muslim and Non-Muslims in Gurdaspur District, based on Census Data. In the 1881 Census, Non-Muslims were in majority, at 52.49%. While the Non-Muslims had a slight majority, the proportion of Muslim population increased in the following decades. By 1930s, Muslims were the majority population in the District. |
