| Description |
English: Promotional poster from Victorian Railways for the opening of Museum station in 1981, featuring an illustration of the new station platforms and trains. The station is now named Melbourne Central. Poster shows the evolution of trains in Melbourne with a selection of rolling-stock and heralds the opening of the first stage of the City Loop as the "Beginning of a New Era". Museum station was renamed to Melbourne Central in 1997 after the Melbourne Museum moved buildings.
