Description
English: The Ruzizi River between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. The Ruzizi River forms part of the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. After passing through Rwanda, the river enters Burundi and forms part of the border between Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It eventually flows into Lake Tanganyika, which is shared by multiple countries including Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. The Ruzizi River plays an important role in providing water resources and hydroelectric power to the region.
