Norsk nynorsk: Våpenet til Sør-Varanger kommune i Finnmark fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 16. april 1982.
Motiv: Skrådelt av gull og rødt ved tretunget flammesnitt.[1] Motivet spelar på tretalssymbolikk. Denne symbolikken femner mellom anna møtet mellom tre rike: Finland, Russland og Noreg, dei tre hovudnæringane i kommunen: landbruk, bergverk og fiske, og dei tre grenseelvane: Grense Jakobselv, Pasvikelva og Neidenelva.
