English: Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Jack Straw (centre), of the United Kingdom, meets at the Pentagon with US Deputy Secretary of Defence Paul Wolfowitz (left) on 24th October 2001. Straw met earlier with Secretary of Defence Donald H. Rumsfeld to discuss issues related to the so-called "War on Terrorism" and the ongoing military operations directed against the Taliban and al Qaeda organisations in Afghanistan. United Kingdom's Ambassador to the U.S. Christopher Meyer (right) joined Straw and Wolfowitz in the discussion.
