English: This is the transliteration of the word "Thumkhong Lairembi" in Meitei/Meetei/Manipuri script. "Thumkhong" literally means "salt brine" or "salt well" and "Lairembi" literally means "goddess" in Meitei/Meetei/Manipuri language. Thumkhong Lairembi (AKA, Thumleima) is the goddess of salt and salt wells in Meitei mythology and religion (Sanamahism) of Antique Kangleipak (Ancient Manipur).
