Description
English: From the text of Gurd's book: "Tecumseh and Brock at the Surrender of Detroit. From the original water-color painting, by A. M. Wickson. This picture represents the two leading spirits of the drama when kept in suspense awaiting the return of Brock's special messengers, despatched to General Hull, with a demand for the surrender of Detroit. These messengers can be seen on the trail, conferring with Hull's despatch bearer, carrying a flag of truce."
