Summary

Description
English: The ship Providencia was en route from Havana, to Cádiz with a cargo of coconuts. She was wrecked about where Mar-a-Lago now is. The coconuts were salvaged; as there were many more than could be eaten by the few residents, many were planted. From this incident came Florida's palm trees (not native anywhere in the US), and the name of Palm Beach, Florida.
