Die Heilige wird mit einem Kelch dargestellt, weil sie als Tochter des heidnischen Dioscuros, der ihr den Glauben austreiben wollte, in der Fürbitte im Falle eines plötzlichen Todes angerufen wird. Denn auch ihren Vater traf, nachdem er sie enthaupten ließ, der Blitz und er verbrannte an Ort und Stelle. Insofern bietet sie hier dem Sterbenden in Form der Hostie ein Sterbenssakrament an.
