Summary

Description
Norsk nynorsk: Våpen for Trøgstad kommune i Østfold fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 24. august 1979.
Motiv: På grøn botn ein sølv ambolt. Trøgstad er ein kommune kjent for gamle tradisjonar innan handverk, da særleg innan smedkunst. Ambolten symboliserer fint denne tradisjonen. Grønfargen på våpenet står for skogbruk og jordbruk, som òg er viktige næringar i kommunen.
English: Coat of arms of the Norwegian municipality of Trøgstad, Østfold, depicting a silver anvil on a green background.
