Summary
| Description |
English: Large snow cave dug out in a snow drift in Adélie Land, Antarctica (August 1977). The total area of the snow cave was approximately 4-fold that shown by the photograph. It could be accessed through crawling in a 20-ft-long tunnel. Français : Trou à neige de grande dimension creusé dans une congère en Terre Adélie (Antarctique) – août 1977. La surface totale du trou à neige était environ quatre fois plus grande que celle montrée ici. On y accédait en rampant dans un tunnel de 6 m de long. |
