English: UTI Agar is a chromogenic medium for identification and differentiation of main microorganisms that cause urinary tract infections (UTIs).

On the agar plate you can see the following colonies:

  • Pink - E. coli;
  • Blue-green/turquoise - Enterococcus spp.;
  • Dark blue - Klebsiella spp.;
  • Light brown with a red dot - Proteus mirabilis;
  • Light brown - Proteus spp.
