Esta vista abrange todo o antigo acampamento alliado e quadrilatero paraguayo, fortificações de Curuzú, Curupaity, Humaitá e Timbó, posições de Laureles, Tuyuty, Tuyucuê, Parecuê, Tajy, Estabelecimiento Villa do Pilar, S. Solano e Porto Elisiario, caminho de ferro no Chaco, lugares onde desembocam os rios Tebiquary, Nhembuci, Vermelho, Hondo, Riacho do Ouro e Arroio Quiá, posições onde se achavam as esquadras encouraçada e de madeira antes da passagem de Humaitá, etc, e mais a indicação de todos os movimentos operados depois da ultima ascenção do balão, segundo os desenhos e mappas remettidos do theatro da guerra pelos correspondentes da Vida Fluminense.
