„Unter silbernem Schildhaupt in form eines Bogenfrieses in Grün eine goldene Rose mit rotem Butzen und roten Kelchblättern.“[1]
Der Niedersächsische Minister des Innern genehmigte das Wappen am 28. März 1950.
English: Coat of arms of the German municipality of Wennigsen. The coat of arms was granted by the Lower Saxon Minister of the Interior on 28 March 1950.
