Object history Der Ort Geiselbach kam um 1300 an das Kloster Seligenstadt. Darauf weist der Großbuchstabe A, das Symbol der ehemaligen Abtei Seligenstadt. Diese besaß eine zusammenhängende Grundherrschaft mit Niedergerichtsbarkeit über die so genannten �Dreidörfer� Geiselbach, Hofstädten und Omersbach. Das kommt durch die drei Sterne zum Ausdruck. Die Farben Silber und Rot entsprechen den Farben von Kurmainz und erinnern an dessen Landesherrschaft bis 1803.
