Deutsch: Der Pochhammer weist auf den lange Zeit betriebenen Bergbau im Gemeindegebiet hin. Bereits im 17. Jahrhundert sind im Ort zwei Eisenhämmer und ein Hochofen bekannt. Der Adler erinnert an die Landeshoheit der Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Bayreuth bis 1791. Der Adler steht in geminderter Form im Wappen ohne die Kleestängel des brandenburgischen Wappentiers. Die Farbe Grün ist redend für den Ortsnamen. |
