English: "International News Photos - San Francisco Bureau Slug (Warren G. Magnuson). Youthful politician succeeds Zioncheck. Seattle, Wash. Nov. 5th. Warren G. Magnuson, King County's 31 year old prosecutor, was elected to the House of Representatives seat left vacant by the death of Marion A. Zioncheck. Magnuson still had two years to serve as Prosecutor when he was elected Congressman from the Seattle-Kitsap County District. This is his seventh consecutive political victory since entering politics. He is a graduate of the University of Washington Law School. Magnuson is a Democrat. All Bureaus - List A-C-D-(0) 11-6-36" -- on note attached to verso. |
