English: Ploschad Vosstanya in St. Petersburg at 11:00PM on June 28th, 2006. This is an example of the "White Nights" of St. Petersburg in which the sun sets for just a few hours at night and darkness never is complete.Hero-City Obelisk (Leningrad) — is located in Vosstaniya Square in Saint Petersburg — Leningrad. Installed in May 1985 and the fortieth anniversary of the Victory Day (May 9) in Great Patriotic War.
The author of the monument — architect V.S.Lukyanov.
