Note: There is another available published map that shows almost exactly the same thing, see: Freeman-Grenville, Greville Stewart Parker and Munro-Hay, Stuart C. (2002), "Historical Atlas of Islam", Continuum, p. 79. There are also other available maps of the Zirid state after the Hammadid split, but they often don't show the full territory (e.g. the eastern borders are off-frame) and/or they don't indicate a particular historical time (other than, presumably, after 1015). The sources above were the most convenient and helpful.
