西藏教皇達賴喇嘛法王の宮殿 （西藏）

西藏の首府拉薩［ラツサ］の西にあり。ポタラ王宮と名く。十七世紀末達賴喇嘛第五世の代に築造せられたるものなり。宮城は山巖に據り天空に屹立すること五百尺、白皚の堅壁は摩天の金盖と相映じ燦然として碧空に輝く。莊嚴宏麗、崇高無比、正に天下の偉觀を極む。羅馬のヴテガン、サンペトロの大も遠く及ばざるべし。｜王宮のうちには佛神の聖殿祠堂あり、歷代達賴喇嘛法王の靈廟あり幾多の僧伽藍あり。又現在法王の政廳も茲にあり。（撮影、説明、－靑木文敎氏）
