Flag of Belarus
The current national flag of Belarus was introduced on June 7, 1995. This new design replaced a historical flag used by the Belarusian People's Republic of 1918. The current flag is a change of the 1951 flag.

The flag has a red upper stripe and a green lower stripe. A vertical red and white pattern is against the flagstaff.
