Freddie and the Dreamers

Freddie and the Dreamers were an English pop band from Manchester. The Dreamers had songs including "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me". They also created the dance "The Freddie". The band was started in 1959 and was originally a skiffle group, but the name change to Freddie and the Dreamers came in 1962. The members of the band were singer Freddie Garrity, guitar players Derek Quinn and Roy Crewdson, bass player Pete Birrell and drummer Bernie Dwyer.[1] Freddie Garrity was a milkman before he became a singer in the band.[1]
