Galen Cole

Galen Cole (November 29, 1925[1] – January 9, 2020) was an American military personnel of World War II and philanthropist. He was born in Bangor, Maine, Cole managed the Cole Land Transportation Museum and the Walking Sticks for Veterans program. He organized many activities and charity drives for veterans and related causes in Bangor. He was part of the United States Marines and was a Purple Heart recipient.

Cole died on January 9, 2020 in Bangor at the age of 94.[2]
