Geoffrey Burnstock
Geoffrey Burnstock (10 May 1929 – 2 June 2020) was an English-born Australian neurobiologist. He was President of the Autonomic Neuroscience Centre of the UCL Medical School. He was best known for creating the term purinergic signalling, which he discovered in the 1970s.[1] He retired in October 2017.

He was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 1992.[2]
