"Girlfriend Is Better" is a 1983 song by Talking Heads and is the third track from their fifth studio album Speaking in Tongues. It was released as a live single in 1984 for the concert movie Stop Making Sense. It went to number 99 in the United Kingdom and number 21 in New Zealand.
