Global Biodiversity Information Facility
The Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) is an organization that provides information about living things. It was started in 2001.[1] Governments pay for the GBIF to work, and GBIF gives the information to whoever wants it.[2] GBIF is the largest data platform for living things in the world, and it is the one that scientists use the most.[3]
