Gnomeo & Juliet
Gnomeo & Juliet is a 2011 British-American 3D computer-animated fantasy romantic comedy movie loosely based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet and an original screenplay by John R. Smith and Rob Sprackling. The movie had funding from Disney[1] and released through its Touchstone Pictures banner.[2]
It was co-written and directed by Kelly Asbury and starring the voices of James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Michael Caine, Jason Statham, Maggie Smith, Patrick Stewart, Jim Cummings, Ashley Jensen, Stephen Merchant, Matt Lucas, and Ozzy Osbourne.
The movie premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on January 23, 2011. It was theatrically released in the United Kingdom and United States on February 11, 2011.
