Grisy-Suisnes
Grisy-Suisnes is a small village, about 33 km from Paris.[1] It is in the Seine-et-Marne department (77) in the Île-de-France region, at an interconnection of the TGV. Its geographical coordinates are 48°41′7″N 2°40′4″E. Its area is 1,848 ha.
In 1999, the village population was 1,989. People who live there are called Grisysoliens.
In the past, the village supplied the French royalty with roses. The church of Grisy-Suisnes is named Notre Dame des Roses. The church, if seen from above, was designed to look like a rose with its petals.
