Hans Erni
Hans Erni (21 February 1909 – 21 March 2015) was a Swiss painter, designer and sculptor. He was known for illustrating postage stamps, activism, lithographs for the Swiss Red Cross, and participation on the International Olympic Committee. The Hans Erni Museum, in the grounds of the Swiss Museum of Transport, contains a large collection of artwork.
Erni was born in Lucerne. He was the third of eight children.[1] Ernie died in Lucerne on 21 March 2015 at the age of 106.
