Harold and the Purple Crayon

Harold and the Purple Crayon is a picture book by Crockett Johnson. It was published by Harper & Brothers in 1955. The book is about a boy named Harold. He creates his own world by drawing it with his purple crayon.

In the television series adaptation, it was originally aired on HBO from December 1, 2001 to March 23, 2002.
