Harry Benjamin
Harry Benjamin (January 12, 1885 – August 24, 1986) was an American sexologist. A book he wrote called The Transsexual Phenomenon was published in 1966. He died when he was 101. He made the Sex Orientation Scale. It is also known as the Benjamin scale.
Early life
Benjamin was born in Berlin. He was raised in an Ashkenazi Jewish home.
Personal life
Benjamin was married to a woman called Gretchen.[1]
