Harry Kent (cyclist)
Harry Dale Kent (11 March 1947 – 24 August 2021) was a New Zealand racing cyclist. He was the first New Zealander to win a gold medal in cycling at the Commonwealth Games in 1970. He was the first cyclist from the country to medal at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Kent was born in Upper Hutt, New Zealand.[1]
Kent died on 24 August 2021 in Wellington from problems caused by multiple strokes, aged 74.[2]
