Hessdalen Lights
The Hessdalen lights are unexplained luminous atmospheric phenomena that appear over the Hessdalen Valley of Norway. To its people, it is a brilliant display of unexplained lights that regularly appear through the day and night.[1] Sometimes the lights appear for over an hour, sometimes for just a few seconds, and move in unpredictable patterns.[1] Although they appear twenty times a year now, in the years 1981-1984, a frenzy of Hessdalen lights were reported, they were reported at least twenty times a week![2] They are common in the location and many UFO conspiracy theorists think the lights are of extraterrestrial origin,[3] but scientists speculate the lights are a chemical and electrical reaction caused by ionized air particles.[4]
