History of the Prince-Bishopric of Utrecht
The Prince-Bishopric of Utrecht was a county in the Holy Roman Empire located in modern Netherlands.

History
During the reign of Saxon emperors, who frequently made the Bishop's of Utrecht to attend the imperial councils and diets.
End
This county ended in 1528 after being conquered by the habsburg troops. A part of it became the Lordship of Utrecht and the second part was transformed into the Lordship of Overijssel.
