Homomorphism
In algebra homomorphism is a map between two groups, that keeps the structure of the two groups. Homomorphic structures are basically the same, while the numbers, or operations in the equations are different. This means the two structures can be easily compared.
Homomorphism Media
Monoid homomorphism f from the monoid (N, +, 0) to the monoid (N, ×, 1), defined by f(x) = 2^x. It is injective, but not surjective.
