Howard Wales
Howard Wales (February 8, 1943 — December 7, 2020) was an American rock jazz keyboardist. He was best known for his works with Jerry Garcia in the early 1970s.[1][2] He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His works include 1970 Grateful Dead album American Beauty. He played organ on the songs "Truckin'" and "Candyman", and piano on "Brokedown Palace".
Wales died on December 7, 2020 in Redding, California from a cerebral hemorrhage, aged 77.[3][4][5]
