Human tooth
The human teeth mechanically break down pieces of food by cutting and crushing them before swallowing and digesting them. Humans have four types of teeth: incisors, canines, premolars, and molars, each with their own function.

Human Tooth Media
The Universal Numbering System for adult human teeth, used in the USA. The view is from a dental practitioner's perspective, meaning tooth 1 is the upper right rear (third) molar. Most countries use the FDI numbering system.
