iOS 12
iOS 12 is the twelfth major release of the iOS mobile operating system developed by Apple Inc., being the successor to iOS 11. It was announced at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference on June 4, 2018, and was released on September 17, 2018. It was succeeded by iOS 13 on September 19, 2019.

Features
Performance
Performance changes were made to speed up tasks across supported iOS devices.[1] Tests done by Apple on an iPhone 6 Plus showed that apps launched 40 percent faster, the keyboard activated 50 percent faster, and the camera app opened 70 percent faster.[2]
Screen Time
The new feature allows users to check how long they are using their devices for and what they were doing.[3]
