Indian religions

Indian religions or Indic religions are religions that originated from the Indian subcontinent. Dharma is an idea common to many of these religions such as Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism.

Dharmic religions

The following religions are based on the ideology of Dharma:

• Buddhism
• Hinduism
• Jainism
• Sikhism

Ethnic/folk religions

The following religions are not necessarily based on the concept of Dharma and have their own ideologies:

• Sanamahism
• Donyi Poloism
• Bathouism
• Sarnaism
