Iowa Energy
The Iowa Energy are an American professional basketball team based in Des Moines, Iowa. They play in the Eastern Conference in the NBA Development League (NBA D-League). This is a minor league basketball organization owned and run by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Energy play their home games at the Wells Fargo Arena.[1] They broke the D-league attendance record on their first ever home game with 8,842 fans.[2] They won their first D-league championship in 2011. In 2009 and 2014, the team won Division Titles. In 2010 and 2011 they won Conference Titles. Their NBA team sponsor is the Memphis Grizzlies.

Othyus Jeffers won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2009 and received two All-Star Game selections during his career with the Energy.
Anthony Tolliver was called up to the New Orleans Hornets during the 2008–09 season.
Shannon Brown was assigned from the Chicago Bulls during the 2007–08 season.
