Isolationism

Isolationism is a category of foreign policies by political leader who believe their nations' best interests are done by keeping the affairs of other countries at a distance.^[1] A reason for this can be to avoid conflict. Some criticize this idea as it can stop helping other nations from trouble.^[2]
