J. Neil Schulman
Joseph Neil Schulman (/ˈʃuːlmən/; April 16, 1953[1] – August 11, 2019) was an American novelist. He wrote Alongside Night (published 1979) and The Rainbow Cadenza (published 1983). He won the Prometheus Award. His third novel, Escape from Heaven, was also a finalist for the 2002 Prometheus Award. His fourth and latest novel, The Fractal Man, was a finalist for the 2019 Prometheus Award.[2]
Schulman was born in Queens, New York. He died of a pulmonary embolism on August 11, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 66.[3]
