Jagdeep Dhankhar

Jagdeep Dhankhar (born 18 May 1951) is an Indian politician, who is the 14th Vice President of India since 2022. He served as the Governor of West Bengal. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Chandra Shekhar ministry.

In July 2022, the National Democratic Alliance announced Dhankhar as its vice presidential nominee for the 2022 election and he won the election eventually.[3]
